The anticipation of the new direction for professional Drag Racing in Australia is a buzz amongst teams and fans alike. ANDRA have recently released it's 2013 calendar and other crucial changes to again win over race fans and build the sports profile.

It has been a long time between rounds for the 'Allstar Batteries' funnycar but this has allowed Steve plenty of time to get the new Pontiac funnycar chassis ready to launch down the quarter mle.  The team will be appearing in a couple more rounds for this season, the next being in Sydney in May and back at Willowbank Raceway for the Winternationals in June, all the while preparing to go full throttle in their 2013 championship season campaign.

Reed is yet to confirm if the 'Allstar Batteries' funnycar will appear at all 2013 rounds but at this stage ANDRA have listed 7 championship rounds for Top Alcohol.

The Reed Racing team will be looking for a repeat of their performance in Sydney last September but hoping for one better than their Runner-up trophy. May 2012 @ Sydney Dragway is a national round and the appeal of a gold christmas tree never fades with this team.
